Eagle Express 9/25/19

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

There is SO MUCH information in this week’s Eagle Express. Make yourself a cup of tea, grab a snack, and make sure you are seeing what you need to see! K-8 families, pay special attention to the HSA News section about Fish Fry sign ups!

If you have a student in grades ECE, and K-8, you will see a letter and opt-out form for the Diocesan Circle of Grace program in your child’s green folder today. Please read the letter, and only send the form back if you would like to opt your child out of the program. Please let me know if you have any questions about the program!

The IHM Family Directory is also in your child’s green folder. Please keep this directory where you can find it when you need it for contact information for other IHM families. If there is information missing, it because the parents requested that info not be shared. IHM will not share contact information for families in any other way (phone, email, in person) other than this Family Directory.

We have noticed many 4K families ringing the front doorbell for drop off and pick up of their students, and need to ask 4K families to follow the established procedures for those very busy times. 4K-AM students should be dropped off in the back of school.  4K-PM families please wait outside the front door of school until the teacher comes to the door to collect the students. For pick-up times, ALL 4K families should please wait outside the front door of the school building until the teacher comes down to release the students to you. The main hall is extremely busy at these times, and this process keeps everyone safe and where they need to be.  Of course you are welcome to come in if you need to talk to the teacher, the office, or if the weather outside is bad! Thank you so much for your help with this!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.
Callie Meiller, Principal
