From the Principal
Dear Parents,
This is the 2nd week of the Eagle Express Newsletter! The Eagle Express (this email and the green home folder) is the main way that IHM School communicates with you. To be well infomed, read everything pertinent to your family as soon as you can, and fill out what needs to be returned, including the green Eagle Express folder.
We have been in the process of updating our phone system for the last year or so, and it will finally be switching over, probably next week Thursday. The main school phone number (608)222-8831 will not change. Please be patient with the bumps, because we know there will be bumps! We will send home a new extension list for the teacher’s next week.
Welcome to our new staff member, Aisha Mamou! Ms. Mamou will be an aide in the Wraparound/ECE and Afterschool. She is studying to be a teacher. We are excited to have her at IHM!
Note for Middle School parents: We have encouraged Middle School students to communicate by email with their parents during the day in regards to plans afterschool, however, we need students to talk to their teachers and/or the office if they are not feeling well. If you get an email from your child about not feeling well, please encourage them to talk to their teacher or the office. If they need to be picked up, you will receive a call from the office.
You may have noticed that all of our No-Uniform Days are scheduled on the calendar, about every 2 weeks, on Fridays. Even though there are no uniforms required, clothes should still be appropriate for school. No spaghetti straps, no bellies, no short-shorts, and no inappropriate t-shirts. These days are perfect for IHM spirit wear, or cheering on your favorite sports teams! Thanks for your help with these fun no-uniform days!

Office Reminders
- Picture Day is Wednesday, September 19th. Please send a picture packet form with your child that day (or before) even if you don’t want to order a picture packet. Uniforms are NOT required on picture day.
- Remember, the Smart Tuition withdrawal date for tuition and fees is the 20th of the month. If you have any questions about Smart Tuition, please call their toll-free number 1-888-868-8828.
