Eagle Express 6/2/21

 From the Office

Dear Parents,

What a nice Memorial Day weekend! We hope you had some extra time to spend with your families and had fun with the IHM events this weekend!

As we wrap up this year, and begin to think about what school looks like in the fall, we are planning for being back to “normal” but really don’t know for sure what school will look like, so we will plan to be very flexible. What we do know for sure it that we will do our very best and do everything in our power to ensure the safety, the physical and intellectual growth & development, and solid moral formation of your children.

Over-the-counter medication stored for the year in the school office will be sent home with your child next week. If your child has prescription medication stored in the office, please stop by the office sometime before the end of the school year to pick it up! Thank you!

The lost and found will be set up in front of the school office starting Thursday, June 3rd until next Wednesday, June 9th for parents to come in to look at pick up time from 2:45-3:15 PM daily (12:45-1:15 on Wednesdays!) . If your child lost something, please have them look at the table or come in yourself! Anything not claimed by the end of school will be donated to the Eagle’s Nest or to St. Vincent dePaul Society.

All levels: The enrollment packet for the 21-22 school year is now available! Log in to your FACTs Family Portal and click on Application/Enrollment. If your child will attend IHM in the Fall, you will need to complete these forms to share contacts, medical, emergency information, policy agreements, etc. The forms will be mostly filled in, you will only need to change or add new information. Spanish language enrollment packets will be available in a few weeks!

Grades K-7: Please note that unless you have filled out a withdrawal form for your child, they are enrolled for the Fall; IHM now has an “opt-out” model for grades K-7. The completion (or non-completion) of the enrollment packet is not indicative of your child’s enrollment status for grades K-7. See below in the Office Reminders section for our new Withdrawal Policy.

Grades ECE-4K: If we have not heard from you regarding your plans for the fall, we will be reaching out via email to make sure you have a place in an IHM class if you would like it! Look for that email!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.
God Bless,
Callie Meiller, Principal

  • IHM School is committed to maintaining a low student/teacher ratio. Therefore the following policy is in effect for withdrawal of students K-8:
-If you withdraw a student after July 15, you are responsible for 1st trimester tuition.
-After November 15, you are responsible for 1st and 2nd trimester tuition and all fees.
-After February 15, you are responsible for the full year’s tuition and all fees.

Please let us know if you have any questions about this new policy.

  • The Grand & Aid application is here: https://online.factsmgt.com/aid There is a $35 fee to apply for tuition assistance. We encourage you to apply if you feel you need assistance; 20% of our current students are receiving some form of financial aid, and the majority of families that apply receive some aid.

Thank You!
