From the Office
Dear Parents,
What a nice Memorial Day weekend! We hope you had some extra time to spend with your families!
Congratulations to our graduating 8th Grade class! I would like to invite everyone to a great tradition at IHM, the 8th grade Clap-Out tomorrow, on Thursday, June 1st at 2:30 pm, where we line the hallways of our school to clap the 8th grade class out of the building!
Next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (June 5-7th) will be Dress-Down days, and Thursday June 8th will be a dress-up for Jesus day, so students should dress up or in their uniforms on Thursday (no jeans please!)
If you live in the Monona Grove School District and would like your child(ren) to ride the bus to IHM in the Fall, you need to fill out this form to request transportation: https://forms.gle/ifeQRE3E87fXPR5F9. Consider filling out the form even if you are unsure at this time, you can always change your mind! Thank you!
The lost and found is set up in front of the school office starting this week for parents to come in to look for lost items. Anything not claimed by the end of school will be donated to the Eagle’s Nest or to St. Vincent dePaul Society.
Over-the-counter medication stored for the year in the school office will be sent home with your child next week. If your child has prescription medication stored in the office, please stop by the office sometime before the end of the school year to pick it up! Thank you!
Please watch for an email sometime in June with the instructions for filling out the enrollment packet for your student for the 23-24 school year! All students need to fill it out – it is required each year, and is different than the application for new students.
Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world. On behalf of Fr. Chad, the teachers and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, God bless you for choosing Immaculate Heart of Mary School!
Peace & Blessings,
Callie Meiller, Principal
