From the Office

Dear Parents,

It is contract time for teachers, and that means it is the time of year that I need to inform you about changes in our staff for the coming year:

We are sad to be saying goodbye to Mr. Brian Wagner, one of our Resource Aids, and Ms. Greta Kelly, our 4th grade teacher’s aide. We will miss their hard work and love of our students.  Lots of prayers for Mr. Wagner and Ms. Kelly for the future, they will always be a part of the IHM family!

I am happy to announce that we have hired our 3rd grade long-term substitute teacher, Mrs. Tiffany Leck, to be our full-time 3rd grade teacher for the Fall! We are excited to continue working with Mrs. Leck!

Mrs. Arts needs help with Field Day on Wednesday, June 7th! Please sign up here if you can help: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080B4FA4A72CA31-field. Thank you!

We hope our 8th graders have been proudly displaying their Graduate yard signs! It is a great way to show the community the wonderful students that graduate from IHM. We ask that 8th grade families return them to the usher’s room in the parish by 6/15. There will be a sign in sheet in there. Any signs/metal stands not returned by then will be charged $25 to your FACTS account. Thank you!

Late summer is when we have the most customers, so please help us stock up the Eagle’s Nest! We are most in need of IHM polos at this time. The Eagle’s Nest is located behind the gym by the basketball hoops. Uniforms can also be placed in the bin outside of the school office.

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world. On behalf of Fr. Chad, the teachers and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, God bless you for choosing Immaculate Heart of Mary School!

Peace & Blessings,

Callie Meiller, Principa

Office Reminders

If you are filling out a transportation form for the 22-23 school year, IHM had 173 attendance days this year.

All IHM Library books are due back to the library by Friday, May 26th. Books not returned by that date will be assumed lost and charged to your FACTs account for June.

Every IHM student receives a yearbook! There is no need to order – the fee is included with your tuition costs. The Yearbook will be sent home near the end of the school year.

IHM School is committed to maintaining a low student/teacher ratio. Therefore the following policy is in effect for withdrawal of students K-8:
-If you withdraw a student after July 15, you are responsible for 1st trimester tuition.
-After November 15, you are responsible for 1st and 2nd trimester tuition and all fees.
-After February 15, you are responsible for the full year’s tuition and all fees.

Current students are automatically re-enrolled. You need to fill out a withdrawal form to withdraw your student. If you have not filled out a withdrawal form, your student is considered enrolled. Please let us know if you have any questions about this policy.

Enrollment for the IHM Summer Programs are now closed. If you enrolled, you were mailed a confirmation of days that your family will need the Summer Programs – please respond to that email if you need to change your dates. If you need the Summer Programs but did not yet enroll, please contact the school office.

Tuition Assistance is available for students in grades K-8 whose families qualify. Apply for assistance for the 23-24 school year here: online.factsmgt.com/aid

IHM Covid Policy is: The first day of symptoms or date of a positive test, whichever comes first, is DAY ZERO. They can return to school on DAY SIX, as long as symptoms are improving and they have been fever-free withough medication for 24 hours, and must mask until DAY TEN. If you need help with the dates, let us know! Please report any positive home test directly to Madison Dane County Public Health here: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7062626/PHMDCSurvey22-23.

Thank You

Thank you so much to Mrs. Cayla Hess, for being out Athletic Director this year: organizing teams, uniforms, opening gyms, concessions, spearheading and planning the Athletic Banquet, and more that is not listed! We really appreciate her filling this role for IHM, and she rocks it!
