Eagle Express 5/21/21

 From the Office

Dear Parents,

Thanks to all who attended our 1st al fresco Spring Concert last week! We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did! The ECE and 4K are invited to a Family Music Night on Monday, June 7th at 6:00 PM, on the IHM field. Bring blankets to sit on (socially distanced, please!) and instruments to play. See the flyer linked below for more information. Hope to see you there!

The IHM students who have recently received their 1st Communions will be celebrating at the Friday, May 28th Mass (2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade attend). The communicants are welcome to dress up in their 1st Communion clothes for the Mass (and change out of it after Mass!), and parents are invited to attend!

IHM Parish Festival events are coming at the end of May! Follow this link for lots of information about the Fish Fry, the Hike/Bike/Fun Run, and the Volleyball Tournament: https://ihmcatholicparish.org/memorial-day-festival/
Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.
God Bless,
Callie Meiller, Principal

Office Reminders

  • All IHM Library books are due back to the library by Friday, May 28th. Books not returned by that date will be assumed lost and charged to your FACTs account for June.
  • Every IHM student receives a yearbook! There is no need to order – the fee is included with your tuition costs. The Yearbook will be sent home near the end of the school year, as soon as it has been printed.
  • Mrs. Snider is looking for one parent per grade to assist with Field Day on Wednesday, June 9th from 8:45 through lunchtime. Please email her at jsnider@ihm-school.org if you can assist for all or part of that time.
  •  Important 21-22 School Year Dates (grades K-8):

    Aug. 31 : 1st Day of School (K-8)

    Mar. 25 – Apr. 1: Spring Break
    Apr. 15-18: Easter Break
June 9: Last Day of School

  • IHM School is committed to maintaining a low student/teacher ratio. Therefore the following policy is in effect for withdrawal of students K-8:
-If you withdraw a student after July 15, you are responsible for 1st trimester tuition.
-After November 15, you are responsible for 1st and 2nd trimester tuition and all fees.
-After February 15, you are responsible for the full year’s tuition and all fees.

Current students are automatically re-enrolled. You need to fill out a withdrawal form to withdraw your student. If you have not filled out a withdrawal form, your student is considered enrolled. Please let us know if you have any questions about this new policy.

  • The Grand & Aid application is here: https://online.factsmgt.com/aid There is a $35 fee to apply for tuition assistance. We encourage you to apply if you feel you need assistance; 20% of our current students are receiving some form of financial aid, and the majority of families that apply receive some aid.

Thank You!

Thanks to Mrs. Dani Binzak for organizing the Spring Concert and teaching our students so many wonderful musical skills, and to those students for their hard work and dedication to the performance!
