From the Office
Dear Parents,
This is the last week of “class” for our 8th grade. Congratulations to all of our 8th graders and their families. We wish them great success in the future. They are always welcome to come back and visit us here at IHM (as soon as that is allowed!) – we love to keep up with our graduates and find out what is happening in their lives. Everyone is invited to the 8th grade, socially-distanced “Clap-Out” next Tuesday, May 26th at 6:00 PM as we cheer for the 8th graders! Instructions are linked below.
It is teacher contract time, which means it’s also time to let you know about the staffing changes that we know about for next fall. IHM is sorry to be saying goodbye to long-time 4K aide Mrs. Vicki Pagnucci, and to ECE aide Mrs. Mindy Vitucci. We will miss these amazing woman, appreciate all of the love and time they have given to IHM, and send them with blessings into whatever life holds for them in the future! Their letters to you are below:
From Mrs. Pagnucci:
Dear IHM families,
I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I have some exciting news to share with you. I will be retiring at the end of the school year. I taught at IHM for twelve years and fourteen years at other schools. I can’t express how grateful I am for all of you making me feel welcome at IHM. I will cherish the memories and the friendships I made at IHM. I want to wish you the very best. I hope to see you around once things start going back to normal.
Thanks again,
Vicki Pagnucci
From Mrs. Vitucci:
Dear IHM families and staff,
First of all, let me extend my thanks for welcoming me into your school community. I am grateful that my first experience in the role of teacher was at such an inviting, warm environment. I have been inspired by many of the teachers and administrators and have
treasured my time with the kids.
I have been given an opportunity at the school my children attend(ed). And while I am sad to no longer be employed at IHM, I am excited for my new challenges. I still plan
to support the school fundraisers and events and attend an occasional weekend mass (at least when we are all permitted to return). So, I hope to see you very soon.
Warm regards,
Mindy Vitucci
Our plans for student item pick-up/drop-off is set for June 8th-10th! We will have a sign-up genius (it will be in next week’s Eagle Express) for parents to sign up for a time to come to school to pick up their students items from the classrooms, and to drop off borrowed technology, library books, items borrowed from classrooms, etc. There will be a letter with the guidelines in the next Eagle Express, as well.
For our ECE students for the end of the school year session, if you would like to sign up for
possible care from May 26-June 11, do so here:
