From the Office

Dear Parents,

Thanks to the parents that attend the Spring Concert! It was a beautiful evening, and the students did an amazing performance. Many thanks for Mrs. Binzak for sharing her joy of music!

From the 4th grade:

“On Thursday, May 25th there will be a $2 dress down day to support Team Seas! Team Seas is an ogranization that spends a whole work day cleaning the ocean and freeing animals so IHM will be helping this great organization.

If your child would like to dress down, they must pay a two dollar fee or more. The class with the most money donated will win a pizza party! This is a way to show God we care for his creation!”

Please help the 4th grade by supporting this fundraiser!

I would like to invite everyone to the 8th grade Clap-Out on Thursday, June 1st at 2:30 pm, where we line the hallways of our school to clap the 8th grade class out of the building on their last day! It’s a ton of fun, and a great tradition! We hope you can join us!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world. On behalf of Fr. Chad, the teachers and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, God bless you for choosing Immaculate Heart of Mary School!

Peace & Blessings,
Callie Meiller, Principal

Office Reminders

MENU CHANGE: May 18th will be Spaghetti and Meatballs

All IHM Library books are due back to the library by Friday, May 26th. Books not returned by that date will be assumed lost and charged to your FACTs account for June.

Every IHM student receives a yearbook! There is no need to order – the fee is included with your tuition costs! The Yearbook will be sent home near the end of the school year.

IHM School is committed to maintaining a low student/teacher ratio. Therefore the following policy is in effect for withdrawal of students K-8:
-If you withdraw a student after July 15, you are responsible for 1st trimester tuition.
-After November 15, you are responsible for 1st and 2nd trimester tuition and all fees.
-After February 15, you are responsible for the full year’s tuition and all fees.

Current students are automatically re-enrolled. You need to fill out a withdrawal form to withdraw your student. If you have not filled out a withdrawal form, your student is considered enrolled. Please let us know if you have any questions about this policy.

Enrollment for the IHM Summer Programs are now closed. If you enrolled, watch sometime in May for a confirmation of days that your family will need the Summer Programs – you will have that chance to change your dates if necessary. If you need the Summer Programs but did not yet enroll, please contact the school office.

Tuition Assistance is available for students in grades K-8 whose families qualify. Apply for assistance for the 23-24 school year here: online.factsmgt.com/aid

IHM Covid Policy is: The first day of symptoms or date of a positive test, whichever comes first, is DAY ZERO. They can return to school on DAY SIX, as long as symptoms are improving and they have been fever-free withough medication for 24 hours, and must mask until DAY TEN. If you need help with the dates, let us know! Please report any positive home test directly to Madison Dane County Public Health here: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7062626/PHMDCSurvey22-23.

Thank You

Many thanks to our Volleyball coaches for this season, Mr. Peter Schnell  and Mrs. Callie Meiller!  We appreciate your extra effort towards IHM Athletics!

Monona Library Summer Reading Program Information

Did You Know?

Some families that live in school districts other than Monona Grove may be eligible for transportation reimbursement from their school district, because they pay taxes for riding a school bus that the student does not ride. Check with your home district for their policy – please do not contact the IHM office. For those that know they are eligible for this reimbursement, IHM had 173 days of school in the 22-23 school year.
