From the Office
Dear Parents,Happy Mother’s Day this Sunday to all of our special moms, grandmas, aunts, and mother-figures! God bless you!
I am back from Washington D.C., where I traveled with several of our 8th graders (all were welcome, only a few chose to attend this year) as well as students and teachers from six other Catholic schools in the Madison area. We had an amazing time! From attending Mass in at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, to learning about the history of our country, seeing many museums, we all learned so much and had a great time doing it! I highly encourage our 7th grade students to attend the trip next Spring – they will not regret it!
Enrollment for the IHM Summer Programs are now closed. If you enrolled, watch sometime in May for a confirmation of days that your family will need the Summer Programs – you will have that chance to change your dates if necessary. If you need the Summer Programs but did not yet enroll, please contact the school office.
The deadline for applying for tuition assistance for the fall is next week Monday, May 15th. Tuition Assistance is available for students in grades K-8 whose families qualify. Apply for assistance for the 23-24 school year here: https://online.factsmgt.com/aid .
The Kindergarten through 8th Grade Spring Concert is coming up on Thursday, May 11th at 5:30 PM! The students should report to their classrooms at 5:15 PM. Performance attire should be comfortable, safe, colorful, and school appropiate, or their school uniform, no need to go out to buy something special. Families can sit on the field; please no animals, no food, no chairs over 6-inches from the ground. Please note that the playground will be closed before and during the performance. We are looking forward to gathering and sharing our music with you!
IHM’s EdCo is hosting a “Hello Summer Tailgate Party – Potluck” on June 2nd at 5:00 PM. Please join us in the IHM back parking lot. Pull your car into the back lot for some IHM style family fun. There will be an end of the year meeting presented by the EdCo followed by volleyball (including an 8th grade vs. parents game), yard games, music and more. We will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs and serving both adult and kid drinks. Please click the sign up genius below to RSVP. Look for a SignUpGenius in next week’s Eagle Express to sign up to bring a dish to pass. Please see the flyer linked below for more details. Please RSVP here by May 13th https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0E49ACAD23A1FF2-hello.
