From the Office

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! We hope you had a relaxing Spring Break with lots of time together with your family!

I have very sad news to tell you. One of our parents, Dawn Ladik, mother of 5th grader Justine (as well as IHM alumni Jacob, Jacqueline, and Julia), wife of Rob, passed away over the Spring Break week. We know that you all join in our prayers for Dawn and her beloved family. Dawn was a wonderful part of our community, was well-known and much loved, and we will all miss her so much. Details of a visitation and funeral are listed on her obituary here: https://www.gundersonfh.com/obituaries/Dawn-Marie-Ladik?obId=27597314. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Other office things this week:

Dates are set for the 23-24 school year! Please see the linked calendar below.

I wanted to let you know that our Summer Programs are filling up, so if you want a spot you should sign up ASAP. The sign-ups are below in the Office Reminders section.

The IHM Dress Code states that uniform shorts and capri pants can be worn starting on April 1st, if the weather is appropriate – which means those items are OK starting this week. But watch the daily forecast, because we all know that Wisconsin weather is fickle, and students will need to go outside for recesses, even if they feel they aren’t dressed for the weather.

Our Wednesday Family Faith Formation Night is tonight, April 5, a potluck dinner in Marian Hall at 6pm.  We will provide Pasta with Marinara Sauce & Meatballs. We are in need of garlic bread, sides, salads and desserts! Please bring an item to share. Dinner will be served by volunteers from our Knights of Columbus group. Hope to see you there!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world. On behalf of Fr. Chad, the teachers and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, God bless you for choosing Immaculate Heart of Mary School!

Peace & Blessings,

Callie Meiller, Principal
