From the Office

Dear Parents,

The letter is from Mrs. Winter today, as Mrs. Meiller is in Washington D.C. with our 8th graders who are attending all  week, so will not be in the office. She is available on a limited basis by email. I’m sure she can’t wait to tell you all about the trip, and to get our middle school excited for future trips!

Covid is starting to rear it’s head again at IHM. It is time to start being more cautious again, and not assuming cold symptoms are “only a cold.” If your child has symptoms, please keep them home. Send them back when symptoms are gone or they have had a negative Covid test. Thanks for your support!

We wanted to point out our withdrawal policy for students in grades K-8, in case anyone’s plans have changed for next year:

-If you withdraw a student after July 15, you are responsible for 1st trimester tuition.
-After November 15, you are responsible for 1st and 2nd trimester tuition and all fees.
-After February 15, you are responsible for the full year’s tuition and all fees.

Please let us know if you have any questions about this policy. If your plans have changed and your child will not attend IHM in the fall, please let the office know.

The deadline to sign up for the IHM Summer Camp is THIS week, Friday April 29th. Get in before it fills up! There is a lot more info on the sign up form, here: https://immaculateheartmonona.wufoo.com/forms/q1x57ph00ottcg0/

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.

Diana Winter, Secreta

Did You Know?

May 1st is the feast of St. Joseph the worker! While not the primary celebration of St. Joseph (that is March 19th), this feast allows us to celebrate St. Joseph in a way that we can all relate to him —as workers! Joseph is the patron saint of many things, including the universal Church, fathers, the dying, social justice, unborn children, travelers, immigrants, a happy death, families, pregnant women, travelers, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general!
