From the Office

Dear Parents,

News from Mr. Shane Reinbold, Mission Advancement Director at IHM Parish:

“I wanted to let you know that I have made the decision that my time at IHM is coming to a close! I have spent the last few months prayerfully discerning where I feel called to work and after 8 years of working in ministry I have decided it’s time to move on to something else! I also have a great desire to be near my family, so while I am taking a breather and deciding what the next big step is for me, I am moving back to North Dakota to be near my family! I leave at the end of this month, but I do desire and hope to be in Madison again soon. There is a great joy for me to be able to go home!

Know of my prayers for you, please pray for me!

God Bless,

Shane Reinbold
Mission Advancement”

We would like to thank Mr. Reinbold for all of his time, dedication and hard work, and will miss him! Good luck in the future!

IHM Parish will be having a modified Parish Festival this year! Keeping in mind everyone’s safety and well being, this year’s activities will be spread out over the weekend. We plan to kick off our festival on Friday, May 28th with our famous drive-thru Fish Fry. On Saturday, May 29th, we plan on holding a bike/hike/fun/run for all ages, and a volleyball tournament (see the flyer linked below). On Sunday, May 30th, plans include a parish picnic and cookout on our church grounds, along with a mini-market with baked goods and craft sales. The grand finale will be a sweepstakes drawing with cash prizes – including our top prize of $2,000.  All parish/school households will be receiving a mailing in the coming week with more details along with your sweepstakes ticket and information. I invite you to mark your calendars and plan on participating. I am looking forward to celebrating Memorial Day weekend together!

Our Summer Camp program for kids entering 1-6th grade is filling up, and if you don’t sign up soon there may not be room for your kids! The deadline to sign up for the IHM Summer Camp is April 30th. There is a lot more info on the sign up form, here: https://immaculateheartmonona.wufoo.com/forms/qgbff8u0yf06vu/
Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.
