From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! We hope you and your families had some extra time to enjoy being together! Exciting news for 3 IHM families who welcomed new babies this week! The Julie & Mark Laudonio family and baby Leo, the Monica & Ryan Freng family and baby Mary Grace, and the Devin & Ian Olson-Fowler family and baby girl Scout. Congratulations!

Lent is here, and each week at 8:30 on Friday the 1-8th grades will attend Stations of the Cross (PK & K will attend every other week). You are always welcome to join us each week during this time of fasting, giving, and prayer.

Muffins with Moms approaches – come and enjoy a breakfast with your little ones at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, April 10th. Aunts, Grandmas, and other special people are invited if Mom can’t make it!

Coming up next week is the Science Fair on Thursday, April 11th, from 5:30-7:00 PM. There are a lot of amazing science project displays to see, and hands-on science demonstrations in the classrooms. The Book Fair will also be available during the Science fair. Come to celebrate Science with your children! See the linked flyer for details!

Enrollment for the IHM Summer Camp Program is open until April 30th – click this link to enroll: IHM Summer Camp. If you need more information, there is a lot on the enrollment link, or please feel free to call or email the school office. This program does fill, and enrollment is first-come, first serve so please enroll soon.

We have had to start a waiting list for our ECE program for next year. There is still potential for more families to get admitted as schedules shake out closer to the fall. If you need the ECE and haven’t enrolled yet I suggest that you do so ASAP to get on the list.

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.

Office Reminders

• Sr. Sue and the Student Council could use donations of Jelly Beans and plastic Easter eggs. Please bring donations to Sr. Sue. Thank you!
• Mrs. Winter is looking for help with the Book Fair at the following times:
  • Monday, Apr. 8th from 8-9 AM
  • Tuesday, Apr. 9 from 11:00-12:30
  • Friday, Apr. 12th from 1:30-3:00
  • Please email her to let her know if you can help her sell books to benefit the school and classroom libraries! It’s easy and fun!
• Mrs. Walters could use more kitchen towels! If you have old towels, please bring them to the kitchen!
• The IHM federal tax ID number is 39-0828125.
• The IHM Dress Code states that uniform shorts and capri pants can be worn starting on April 1st.

Many thanks to Mrs. Bunders, Mr. Hegge, Sr. Sue, Sr. Beverly, Ms. Smet, Mrs. KW & Mr. Schnell for coming in over spring break to help unload the new goodies that the school bought from the Lodi Primary School (lockers, magnetic whiteboards, chairs, stools, and other goodies!)
