Sad news from Miss Hutson:
“It is with mixed emotions that I inform you I have submitted my letter of resignation as 3rd Grade Teacher of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School effective January 6, 2023. I am honored to have worked with the staff, the children, and the parents at IHM. Please know that I will continue to work diligently in my role as 3rd Grade Teacher until January 6, 2023. It has been after much prayer and thought that I have made the difficult decision to leave IHM. Due to recent life changes, I am no longer able to support myself financially while working at IHM. I am blessed to have found a position working for Gunderson Funeral Home as a Funeral Director Apprentice. I want to thank each and every one of you for all your support, and for entrusting me with your children for the past four years. I am honored and feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to be part of the IHM Community. I have so many wonderful memories of my time, and I am sad to say goodbye. During my four years here, I have fostered relationships with many of you and I will cherish the memories and friendships I’ve made during my time here. IHM has been a very special place for me and I will miss everyone. Although it’s hard to say goodbye to the parents and staff, the hardest part of leaving is saying goodbye to the children. I have grown so attached to them over the past four years. I have loved watching them grow up into amazing young people. Please give them a hug for me and let them know how they touched my heart and life. I treasure my memories of them all. Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation as I enter into a new chapter in my life.
God Bless,
Miss Amy Hutson”

Your responses help determine the amount of Title 1 funding available to IHM School. That means we get money to provide services to our students! It is very important, and we can use your help! Your family name and information will be kept confidential at our school, only a summary of the data collected is provided to MMSD where it is utilized for calculating the Title I allocation for services.

We are gearing up for our annual Benefit Dinner & Dance on Friday 1/13 and we need your help to make it a success! We are looking for donations of high-quality bottles of wine and liquor for our Wine Pull Fundraiser that will take place at the Benefit Dinner & Dance on Friday 1/13, a total of about 100. We are also in need of high-quality silent and live auction donated items. For example: themed baskets, gift cards, date night ideas, group outings, vacation destinations, etc. The auctions not only make the night fun, but drive in the most funds!
