From the Principal
Dear Parents,
As Catholics, we recognize the season of Advent preparing ourselves for Christ’s birth. Our 2nd Advent prayer service will be Thursday, December 13th (Please note it is on Thursday instead of the usual Wednesday, because the all-school Mass will be on Wednesday) at 8:30 AM in Marian Hall, lead by the 2nd & 7th grade classrooms. The prayer services will be held weekly throughout Advent. Join us for any of these celebrations during Advent.
Report cards are available for 4K & K-8 students today (ECE will be available in full on Friday)! 4K report cards are available on the Infinite Campus site. Everyone else (ECE, K-8) can access report cards on the Teacher Ease system. You should receive an email with a link for you to access the report card. Let me know if you have any questions about access, and contact your child’s teacher if you have questions about grades.
The School Christmas Concerts are coming up! ECE & 4K will have a concert themselves on Dec. 17th at 11:15, K-3 will be Dec. 20th at 5:30, and 4-8 will be that same day at 6:30. Students should be dressed in Christmas fun outfits, preferably in Green or Red. They are also welcome to wear their uniform polo shirts. Please do not feel the need to go out and buy anything special for your child to wear during the concert. The Christmas concerts are always such a nice way to celebrate the season with our children and the community!
Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world. On behalf of Fr. Chad, the teachers and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, God bless you for choosing Immaculate Heart of Mary School!

The HSA Board would like to thank all families in advance for their time and dedication as we enter into our Fish Fry season! Our first Carry-Out only Fish Fry is this Friday, December 7. Please remember to fill the boxes you’ve received with cookies for the Cookie Walk and bring them to the school office on Friday by 3:00 PM. Extra boxes are available in the office.
The next HSA Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 7:00 PM in the school library. The meeting agenda is linked to this e-mail. We always welcome new faces!
We are also looking for one or two (or three?) volunteers to take over Scrip Coordinator duties as soon as possible. If this is something in your wheelhouse – or better yet, you and a friend would like to do this together – please let an HSA Board member know or email us at ihmhsa@gmail.com.
