There are still several families who have not yet signed up to work the required number of shifts. As a reminder, families are required to work 6 total shifts (single parent households are required to work 3 shifts each) during the 2016-2017 school year. These shifts can be at any of the 6 food fundraisers which include our Spaghetti Dinner (later this month) and our Fabulous Fish Frys (during Lent) If you already worked the Sour R Raffle in October, this fundraiser also counts toward the required number of shifts.
Please remember, all shifts must be filled by adults; you may not send a child to fill your shift unless pre-approved by the Home & School Board. Shifts are available at a variety of days, dates and times and childcare is available for the majority of the shifts, so hopefully you won’t have any trouble finding times that will work for your family.
If you have questions, please email ihmhsa@gmail.com and someone from the HSA Board will get back to you. Please do not contact the school office about HSA scheduling. Thanks!
1.5 yards of fleece
You may notice on the Catholic Schools Week schedule, there is a service project to make fleece blankets for St. Vincent dePaul, and every family is asked to donate 1.5 yards of fleece for the project. For your information, there is a big sale on fleece going on at JoAnn Fabrics starting Thursday (1/12-16)…70% off anti-pill fleece!
