From the Office
Dear Parents,During this month of Thanksgiving, let’s remember to be grateful every day for the blessings that God has given to us. We here at IHM are grateful that you have chosen IHM to be your partners in educating your children and sharing our faith.
We would like to invite all Veteran’s and Active Military associated with IHM School to the Holy Mass on this Friday, Nov. 11th. Because Mass is scheduled for that day, there will be no separate Prayer Service. We hope to see you there! IHM Students are welcome to wear Red, White, and/or Blue that day instead of their uniforms. If they are not wearing those colors, they should wear uniforms.
Thanks to all who were involved in Prairie Fire Theater last week! It was a great show, and a wonderful experience for the students! See the HSA News section for info on how to order a recording of the perfomance!
If you didn’t see it, there was a very nice article in the Catholic Herald this week about our own awesome Mrs. Binzak. Read it here: https://madisoncatholicherald.org/music-at-ihm/.
Our Grandparents Day is coming up on Tuesday, November 22rd. Grandparents are invited to come with us to mass at 8:30 AM on that day – they should meet their students at Mass. They are invited to come back to school for a classrooms open house, a donut and coffee, and to shop the book fair if they are interested! It is a half-day of school for grade K-8, so the festivities and school will end at 11:00 AM.I have left in the sign up links for parent-teacher conferences for one more newsletter in case you still need them. Each student should have ONE conference time for all parents. If that won’t work for your family, or you can’t make this day, please contact the teacher to arrange for a different time. Sign up for a conference time by Friday, November 11th. Families not signed up by that day will be assigned a time, which might not be convenient for your family.

HSA News
What a fantastic performance from our students in Jack & the Beanstalk! It’s amazing what the Prairie Fire Childrens’ Theatre directors can accomplish with our kids in ONE WEEK. We saw them working hard, having fun, and learning. Thanks to the large community of families who stepped up in some big ways to help things run this year! An extra big THANK YOU to Talitha Cushman for her coordination, and Dawn Ladik for her supervision and support during rehearsals. We are so grateful for their many talents!
