From the Office
As COVID cases rise in Wisconsin, and we are seeing a few cases of COVID in IHM school families, we want to remind you that it is a possibility that IHM would need to move to virtual learning for the whole school (and close in-person) for a 14-day quarantine if there are too many families or teachers affected. It is hard to know how many students or teachers it would take, but please remember that it may be unavoidable. Please keep taking all of the precautions you need at home, as we will continue to do at school!
We have noticed more and more students coming to school mask-less. Please remember to send your child with two masks every day. We do have masks for those who forget, but we are cruising through our supply!
During this month of Thanksgiving, let’s remember to be grateful every day for the blessings that God has given to us. We here at IHM are grateful that you have chosen IHM to be your partners in educating your children and sharing our faith.
We had lots of fun at our All Saints Day celebration on Monday! We saw lots of great costumes, and had some fun socially-distanced events throughout the day. Thanks to Sr. Sue and Mrs. KW for planning some of the events, and to the IHM Parish Hospitality Committee for providing goodies!
Veteran’s Day is Wednesday, November 11th, and the IHM 5th Grade will be recording a Virtual Veteran’s Day Prayer Service to share that day. We would like to extend a special invitation to the members of our community who are Veterans or current members of the service to view the service as soon as it is available!
Links to sign up for VIRTUAL Parent/Teacher conferences are below for your convenience. Each student should have ONE conference time for all parents. If that won’t work for your family, or you can’t make this day, please contact the teacher to arrange for a different time. Sign up for a conference time by Friday, November 13th. Families not signed up by that day will be assigned a time, which might not be convenient for your family.
