From the Principal
Dear Parents,
During this month of Thanksgiving, let’s remember to be grateful every day for the blessings that God has given to us. We here at IHM are grateful that you have chosen IHM to be your partners in educating your children and sharing our faith.
Thanks to all who were involved in Prairie Fire Theater last week! It was a great show, and a wonderful experience for the students! Check out our Facebook page (link at the bottom) for tons of awesome pictures!
ONE WEEK ONLY: the apparel store is back open. Get your CHRISTMAS presents here: IHM Apparel Store. Closes on November 20th!
Grandparents/Special Person Day is Tuesday, November 26th. Please drop off your child at school and we will meet you at church for Mass at 8:30 A.M. We will have Mass with a song afterwards in the church (4K will have a special presentation in their classroom at 10:00, and ECE in the gym at 10:20), an open house, refreshments, and the Scholastic book fair. The event will be over by 11:00 A.M. for early dismissal and conferences.
Mrs. Winter could use some help with the Book Fair! There are still 5 shifts available! If you can help, please go here to sign up: Book Fair Volunteer or email Mrs. Winter at secretary@ihm-school.org. Thank you for your help!
Do you have a hobby you love or an activity you’d like to share with our school community? The School Advisory Commission is looking for adult volunteers to lead Winter Extras in any grades K-8. See the volunteer form linked below and e-mail Elizabeth Hartung hartungej@gmail.com if you are interested.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are Monday, Nov. 25th (4K-PM) & Tuesday, Nov. 26th (everyone else). I hope the online Sign-Up Genius helped you find a time that works best for your family. If you did not sign-up online, a time has been appointed to you. Please see your Eagle Express for that time.
Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.
