From the Office  Dear Parents, We hope that you all had a nice, long weekend, or at least that the students did! Our Grandparents Day is coming up on Tuesday, November 23rd. Grandparents are invited to come with us to mass at 8:30 AM on that day, and are invited to come back to school for a classrooms open house, a reception, and to shop the book fair if they are interested! It is a half-day of school for grade K-8, so the festivities and school will end at 11:00 AM. See the flyer linked below for more info! It is time to sign up for parent-teacher conferences!  -Conferences are Tuesday, November 22nd from 12-8 PM, and last 15 minutes. -Middle School students should attend their conference with their parent/guardian, ECE-5th grade students should NOT attend. -Each student should have ONE conference time for all parents. -Contact your childs teacher if you need more than one conference for your student or if you can’t make the scheduled day.  -A translator will be provided if you need one. Please let your teacher know if you would like a translator. -Sign up for a conference time by Friday, November 11th. If you don’t sign up by then, you will be assigned a time. Students can wear halloween shirts, colors, or their favorite color. No Halloween costumes at school, please.  Tuesday, Nov. 1st, All Saints Day will be a no-uniform day for students dressed as Saints! If students are not dressed as a Saint, they should be dressed in a uniform.  Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Office Reminders Come join us for the IHM Trunk or Treat event this Friday, October 28th from 5-7pm in the IHM School parking lot! Picture Retake day is tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 27. Thank You Thank you to all of you parents! We really appreciate you being extra cautious when your children are sick, and keeping them home if they have suspicious symptoms, letting them stay home that one extra day, and getting them tested for COVID is necessary, as well as communicating all of that to us in the office! We appreciate you!

HSA News HSA is sponsoring Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s Production of “Jack and the Beanstalk” October 31st – November 5th.  There is no cost for your child to participate, but attendance at all assigned rehearsals and performances is required.  Performances are Friday, Nov 4th at 7pm & Saturday, Nov 5th at 2pm. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. All students, K – 2nd grade, will receive one free ticket to attend. Email Talitha Cushman at tjncushman@gmail.com if you have any questions. There will be a Taco Bar during Prairie Fire Theater rehearsal on Tuesday, November 1, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm in Marian Hall, open to students and families. Did You Know?    A big “THANK YOU” on behalf of the middle schoolers and future middle schoolers for supporting their Washington D.C. Field Trip Car Wash last Friday! The students worked together and raised $228 for the car wash and an additional $120 from the bake sale for the DC Trip Scholarship Fund! See the links below for some pictures!
