From the Office

Dear Parents,

Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were relaxing and fun. We are looking forward to a new year and all the possibilities that it will bring. Friday is the feast of the Epiphany, or the Feast of the Three Kings. The story explains how the Magi searched for Jesus and made this search their top priority. Jesus calls us to always search for Him. May we find Jesus in all those we know and meet and the experiences that we will have this year.

Please join us tonight, 1/4 , for our Wednesday Formation Night  Potluck Dinner in Marian Hall at 6pm.  We will provide lasagna. We are in need of garlic bread, salads and desserts! Please sign up here to bring an item to share: https://ihmparishmonona.flocknote.com/signup/107376. Dinner will be served by volunteers from Men’s Thursday Lectio Bible Study.

Welcome to Miss Tiffany Leck, who started this week to shadow Mrs. Amy Hutson in the 3rd grade, and will take over for Mrs. Hutson starting next week as the 3rd grade teacher until the end of the school year! From Miss Leck:

“Hello! My name is Tiffany Leck, and I will be the long-term sub in third grade. I am excited to be at IHM and get to know the students, families, and staff. I am attending UW-Whitewater for Early Childhood Education with a dual licensure in Special Education. I look forward to building strong relationships, creating engaging activities, and helping each child learn. ” Say “Hi” to Miss Leck!

Do you have a student who you want to start at IHM next fall, a sibling of a current student, a kiddo starting in 3K or 4K or Kindergarten, or maybe a friend? Applications for the 23-24 school year (for new students, including siblings) will begin next week!

For ALL current students, ECE through grade 7, re-enrollment is assumed unless you let the office know that you do not plan to re-enroll – applications are not necessary for current students! Please spread the news to anyone you know who may be interested in IHM School. Parents are our best advertising! Don’t forget to have new families mention that you referred them and collect your $250 referral credit!

More information will be coming in next week’s Eagle Express.

If you have a child that will be in the Early Childhood, 4K, Kindergarten or Middle School next year, you may be interested in our Open House on Sunday, Jan. 29th! Look for a flyer and more information in the Eagle Express next week. It is a great way to learn about the programs, and to get your questions answered. Please share that date if you know of a family that is thinking of IHM for the Fall!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.

Peace & Blessings,

Callie Meiller, Principal
