Fish Fry Raffle Tickets Due in Two Weeks

Have you sold your Fish Fry Raffle tickets yet?! We have sold a total of 175 raffle tickets for the upcoming HSA Fish Fry raffle – which means we still have 1,825 to go! We are encouraging each school family to sell the 12 tickets they received by the end of January so that we will only have to sell 1,000 tickets at the Fish Fries! Please return purchased tickets with cash or check to the school office by February 1st. Also, the family who sells the most raffle tickets wins $200 worth of SCRIP gift cards of their choice?  Right now the leading family has sold 21 tickets. Stop by the school office to pick up some more tickets to sell so you can stake your claim to the prize!

CSW Penny War & Glasses Drive

As part of the upcoming Catholic Schools Week, the school will be holding a penny war to raise funds for McPherson Eye Institute at UW, in conjunction with a talk that guest speaker Johnny Walsh will give to the kids on Tuesday of CSW. Johnny and his brother have Usher Syndrome, a disease that causes blindness and hearing loss. Their family has started a foundation that helps fund research on blindness and cures for it at McPherson, and we’re going to join in the effort! During Catholic Schools Week (Jan 29-Feb 2) please send your kids in with loose change — pennies add points for their class, and silver coins deduct points from others. The classroom coin collection jars will be located on tables outside the office. The winning class will receive an ice cream sandwich party! Additionally, we’ll be collecting glasses and donating them through a local Lions Club. Please send in your old glasses with your kids during Catholic Schools Week. Thank you!
