Dear Parents,

“Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” is the theme of this year’s Catholic School Week, starting on January 29th. A schedule of all the week’s special activities is linked below – make sure to look at it carefully, there are special things happening every day. There will be a kick-off Mass at 10:15 on the 29th.  Please consider attending this mass and open house to be a visible “Thank You” to the parish that supports our school, students can wear their uniforms!

Priority Application for the 23-24 School Year for current IHM families for siblings, and IHM parishioners, starts today, Wednesday Jan. 11th and goes through Feb. 8th. After Feb. 8th, enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you your student has a sibling that you want to come to IHM, please make sure to fill out an application for them by that date to ensure they will have a spot in the class!

Applications are needed ONLY FOR NEW STUDENTS, including SIBLINGS OF CURRENT STUDENTS. See the Application letter attached for the link to the application, and lots more information.

Please spread the news to anyone you know who may be interested in IHM School. Also view or share our Open House flyer and ECE flyer, linked below. Parents are our best advertising! Don’t forget to have new families mention on their application that you referred them and collect your $250 referral credit (credited on November tuition)! 

For current ECE and K-7 students, IHM School will assume that your child will be returning for the 22-23 school year, unless we hear differently from you (no need to fill out an application for current students!).  You will be assessed a non-refundable re-enrollment fee of $75 on the Feb. 25th tuition withdrawal unless we hear from you that your plans have changed for next year by Feb. 10th. Enrollment packet forms will be available soon, please keep an eye open for them!

The Talent Show is coming up on Thursday, February 2nd! If your student would like to present an act in the Talent show, click here to let Mrs. Binzak know, and to learn more about the practice times and guidelines: https://forms.gle/awTrAvoUtdz9TccXA.

Mrs. Binzak is having a Family Music Event for 3K & 4K classes on January 19th from 10-10:30 AM! Come to share music with your kiddo! See the linked flyer for more information.

Office Reminders

IHM Covid Policy is: The first day of symptoms or date of a positive test, whichever comes first, is DAY ZERO. They can return to school on DAY SIX, as long as symptoms are improving and they have been fever-free withough medication for 24 hours, and must mask until DAY TEN. If you need help with the dates, let us know!

Reading Night 2023 will be held on Monday, January 23 from 6-7 PM in Marian Hall. Students in grades ECE-3 are invited to attend with their parents and siblings for some reading fun. See the linked flyer for more details.
