From the Principal
Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were relaxing and fun. We are looking forward to a new year and all the possibilities that it will bring. This week was the feast of the Epiphany, or the Feast of the Three Kings. The story explains how the Magi searched for Jesus and made this search their top priority. Jesus calls us to always search for Him. May we find Jesus in all those we know and meet and the experiences that we will have this year.
Welcome back to our Mrs. Jenna Snider, our PE teacher who is back from maternity leave for the afternoons until the end of this school year. Mrs. Kuechle will continue to be the PE teacher in the mornings until then. Mrs. Lipski, our 4th grade teacher, is recovering well from a planned surgery and will be back at the end of January. Mrs. Jenny Teche will be filling in as her long-term substitute until she is fully recovered. Prayers for a quick recovery for Mrs. Lipski!
As most of you know, we are switching most of our processes to the FACTS family of school products. We are already using FACTS Tuition, and we will eventually be using FACTS for Application and Enrollment (what we used to call Enrollment and Registration), Student Information System, Scholarships, and Emergency Notification. Please be patient with us as we all learn these new processes together! We can expect that there will be growing pains, but we are looking forward to a more streamlined process for our parents and staff in the future!
Application (for new students, including siblings) will be beginning on January 27th, and Re-Enrollment (for current students) will be shortly after that, as soon as our new online re-enrollment form is ready. Please spread the news to anyone you know who may be interested in IHM School. Parents are our best advertising! Don’t forget to have new families mention that you referred them and collect your $250 referral credit (credited on November tuition)!
If you have a child that will be in Early Childhood, 4K, Kindergarten, or Middle School next school year please save the date to attend one of our information sessions coming up during the Family Fun Day & Open House on Sunday, January 26th! It is a great way to learn about the programs, and to get your questions answered. Please share that date if you know of a family that is thinking of IHM for one of those classes. You will find a flyer with more information linked below. You will also find a a flow chart to help you navigate all of our programs for the Early Childhood students. Let us know if you have questions for yourself, or share the information with someone you know!
